The final part of the triptych “Reflection of the Lost Garden” offers a contemporary rethinking of the classical interpretation of the story of Adam and Eve. At the center of the work is a state of transition: the loss of a former world, the necessity of choice, and the attempt to adapt to a new reality. In this interpretation, the artist draws attention to how cultural expectations distribute responsibility between the male and female figures. Even when the initiative comes from Adam, the image of Eve continues to carry the historically embedded projection of guilt. The painting invites reflection on the roles, expectations, and stereotypes imposed on women and men, and on how these ideas shape our understanding of love, relationships, choice, and responsibility.
