What Blooms in the Dark

“What Blooms in the Dark” is a series about inner transformation, built around the mythological motif of descending into darkness and returning changed. The Hero’s Journey is reinterpreted here as a process of inner transition, in which darkness becomes a space for hidden growth. Flowers emerging from the darkness become an image of life taking shape within uncertainty. Human hands introduce a bodily and personal dimension: gestures of touching, holding, letting go, and engaging with what cannot be fully controlled. The project continues my exploration of myth as a way of understanding contemporary psychological and bodily states. Here, mythological structure becomes a model for inner growth — a process that is not always immediately visible.
