Medusa Gorgon becomes an image of self-protection. The snakes surround her body like living armor: they not only frighten, but also hold the heroine inside her own fear. Anxiety does not attack from the outside here — it grows from within, becomes part of the figure itself, and protection gradually turns into a cage.
