- About love
In this work, love is shown as a tense game between power and inaccessibility. The red figure embodies pressure, desire to possess, and the urge to hold. The blue figure appears vulnerable, but not passive: her detachment, the turn of her body, and her almost flirtatious resistance become part of the shared scenario. The large leaf between them works both as a boundary and as a shelter. It seems meant to hide the blue figure, to close her off from the outside world and, at the same time, bring her closer to the one trying to keep her. Their interaction does not read as a simple romantic scene. It contains seduction, resistance, dependence, and pleasure in the game itself. The work speaks about a form of intimacy in which the desire to be desired can quietly merge with the acceptance of someone else’s rules.
